QA Lead/Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on QA Automation Manager that will be responsible for leading QA manual and automation testing efforts across company’s full suite of products, as well as for building out and managing a Team of QA Engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Researching and setting standards for quality assurance in our software products
  • Ensuring that SDLC processes comply with current industry best practices and working with team members to establish procedures, standards, systems and procedures
  • Developing technical and management level reports to share status of manual and automation efforts
  • Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality of software deliverables
  • Design, implement, and execute test cases based on client-driven design specifications
  • Continue to develop and evolve QA automation framework(s) for API and front-end testing
  • Develop programs in to automate test cases using C# in .NET and .NET Core, Selenium, Protractor, etc.
  • Develop automation pipelines in support of QA efforts in e.g. Jenkins
  • Work with US and India development teams to build testing solutions and troubleshoot issues
  • Lead the execution, debugging, and fixes of automated test suites
  • Act as the primary escalation point for tasks such as bug reporting and resolution tracking
  • Determining and managing team training needs
  • Join Software Engineering team as the functional and line Manager for Automation Testing across the company, building out, growing and managing a team of 20+ QA Manual and Automation Test Engineers

Qualifications and Training:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering
  • 5+ years’ experience in QA Automation Engineering mixed with Application Programming/Development. Ideal candidates will have worked in an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) capacity
  • 3+ years of experience as a Lead or Technical Manager of QA Automation and/or SDET teams
  • Demonstrated experience with best practices quality assurance practices in an Agile/Scrum-based development life cycle. Participate in and lead the development of user story acceptance criteria as well as remainder of functional test portfolio. BDD and CI/CD experience a plus.
  • Ability to perform test automation scripting (from scratch) for back-end as well as front-end applications
  • Demonstrated experience with regression, system, and performance testing and effective reporting systems

Demonstrated systems (Windows, SQL Server, Azure) and scripting (Python, Perl, PowerShell, etc.) experience and skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 /year
